What a nice idea to have a drawing and bless someone with such a nice gift. I'm ready to read and travel with all of you to France.

Thank you for your visit Anita. I miss you too and I find my thoughts often wandering to where you are. Remembering that not all that wander are lost. We shall always know where to find each other.

We have started a backyard project. We have been in our home now 5 years and it's taken that long to agree on what to do with the backyard. Ha...just kidding! We are adding an apple tree, planting lilacs and old fashioned flowers. Len just make the cutest stone path, I will need to snap pictures and show them on my blog.

If you find a free moment, come and see the adorable little pincushion shoes the ladies at work made in our Crafter-Afternoon. I promise it will add charm to your weekend! Poof, just like that!

Len's birthday rolls in tomorrow. I plan to whisk him away to a auction and a visit to a steakhouse we've been wanting to go to for years.

In memory of year dear mom, I'm thinking of you this Mother's Day.

Hello beautiful Anita!!!!!
What a fabulous post- I love visiting your blog every time you post a new masterpiece!!!!!!
Wouldn't it be the best if we could meet in Paris tomorrow morning for coffee & breakfast? If only travel wasn't complicated & we could magically blink our eyes and be with the friends we wish to be with and the places we want to be!!!!!
I bought a beautiful vintage white crochet long dress with scalloped edges at the hem and it's short sleeved..... it's so pretty. It's very difficult to locate white vintage crochet that's in pristine condition with no stains.
I also bought a pair of silver sparkly heels with silver metallic heels.
My husband & I went to see The Great Gatsby this weekend!!!!! We loved it; we saw the 3-D version. What a feast for the eyes!!!!! You really feel as though you've been transported to 1922 and are experiencing Gatsby's world of parties and decadence!!!!! The costume design is A-1 and the jewelry is just gorgeous!!!!!!! You should go see it!!!!!!
Hope you had a fabulous weekend!!!!!

I would love to win a copy of the book.

My post is ready - has been for a week, written and re-written. I can't wait to read all the other posts.

Oh My Gosh! I've been consumed by an event we are doing this weekend, and forgot to do the France post. I am sooo sorry! I would still love to do it in the next day or so, if it's not too late. For now though, so not to confuse anyone, I guess you should take the link down. Again, I apologize, and if it is too late, I completely understand.
Thanks so much.

I just read your comment on Burlap Luxe - that is how far I have gotten on my "trip through France". You said you do not use your own pictures, but your own words. Your own words are beautiful. And, your posts fit with perfectly with one of the phrases on Burlap Luxe "pieces that standing alone have no value". You take photos that standing alone are lovely, but put together with your words they become amazing.
